- I psychologically evaluate and follow the patients submitted to the endoscopic – Intragastric balloon and digestive system surgery procedure, to release the surgical report;
- I perform evaluations/interventions to patients or familiars that are in a current crisis, such as distress, fear, anxiety or depression in face of the clinical diagnosis, clinical treatments and/or clinical hospitalization.
Psychological acting on the medical clinic
The psychological function in a medical clinic is to compose the multi-professional team to psychologically evaluate and follow the patients submitted to the thinning procedure, being through the intragastric balloon or through a bariatric surgery.
It’s necessary that this procedure is performed, so the report can evaluate the patient’s psychological conditions in what concerns the procedure that it must be faced and, most of all, be kept.

Psychological evaluation in obese patients that presents eating disorders, genetic and emotional factors, lifestyle, physiological influences, age, use of medications and/or post-pregnancy. The goal is to emphasize the quality of life in what concerns the physical, psychic and social aspects. Elaboration of the psychological report for surgeries. From 2014 – currently.
